What to do with this situation?

I made an offer on a listing and the seller accepted it. The problem is the seller says she has no idea how to modify the invoice to show I am buying 4 of the same item + shipping. She wants me to pay for 1 item and tack on the cost for the other 3 items into the shipping fee. I have asked her to get help with this issue in the seller forums but still she wants me to pay for it her way. She did call and leave a voicemail and seems nice and genuinely confused. I am a bit paranoid I guess due to being in the midst of a dispute now with a seller whom I paid and never got the items from. What to do? I'm asking here to get a buyers perspective and hopefully someones experiences w/similar situation. Thanks|||Was the listing for one or was 4 listed? If the listing was just for one but you want 4 she is doing it correctly. If the listing was for a mulitple quanity did you put 4 in the quanity box?It may not be your fault but it is your responsibility Silver rule "do not do to others what you would not like to be done to you"|||The listing was for one but she stated on the auction that she had 7 of the same item. RIght now I'm concerned about the invoice showing 1 item when I'm paying for 4..- Is there any protection for me under these circumstances?|||When you look at your my ebay then it shows you won one correct? Then you are not proted for anything other than that one for sig.not as described. You are protected for the full amount paid if you never receive a package. If you pay for the other 3 you will be doing an off ebay transaction. To make it legal ebay transaction she needs to list the 3 at the price you agreed to on ebay and you buy it.It may not be your fault but it is your responsibility Silver rule "do not do to others what you would not like to be done to you"|||Yes, it shows I won just the one. This is the message she left me when I asked her to correct invoice to reflect 4 I'm sorry, I do not know how to change the quanitity on the invoice. So, I added the pricWill this work? $3.00 x 4 = $12.00. Combined S/H/T = $5.70. $12.00 + 5.70 = $17.70. Or tell me how to print the other. I didn't see a revise or update quanity choice. Thank you. Remember, this store is on vacation so it will be Wed. before I can get this mailed. She seems nice but I don't know how to tell her to fix this. I am glad you were able to help me see that it was not right or safe for me to agree to her suggestion. I will ask her again to get help. In the meantime I'm not going to do an off ebay transaction. What do I do if she insists on doing it her way?|||As far as Ebay is concerned, you have only purchased one item . If you want the other items and want it protected by Ebay, then you will need to request your seller list the additional other 3 items and let you know the auction number. Your seller can not redo an invoice related to 1 item purchased on an Ebay auction and make it for 4 items. Please re read the explanation in previous posts.|||You are obligated to purchase pay for the one item you bid on . You are not obligated to pay for the items not purchased thru the Ebay auction. Have the seller list the other items and give you an auction number. In any event, make certain you fund the payment with a credit card via Paypal.|||What to do if your seller never sent the goods and paymnet has been made?||||||How long do I have to wait, any std waiting prd? The seller is zero feedback and never responds any communications? How long do I have to wait for the refunds from PP?|||File your dispute and they will check for a delivery scan then refund if the seller is unable to prove the package has been delivered to you. A reasonable length of time has to pass to allow delivery. The sooner you file, the sooner you'll get the refund.~ Lucy ~ Guide to eBay Board AcronymsClick on for links to Help Pages for a new eBayer|||I am going to take the suggestions given and pay for the one item and let the seller know she needs to list the other items if she wants me to buy them. I will definitely pay via cc w paypal. Thanks so much everyone. I feel better knowing I'm not doing anything wrong by just paying for the one item at this point. Appreciate the advice.|||Perhaps someone will correct me, but if you pay for the one item, but with high shipping (to cover the cost of the other three) and then something goes wrong, item not received or not as described, you would be refunded the full payment you made. I don't see how you would not be covered for the full amount ..... unless I am missing something.~ Lucy ~ Guide to eBay Board AcronymsClick on for links to Help Pages for a new eBayer|||"Perhaps someone will correct me, but if you pay for the one item, but with high shipping (to cover the cost of the other three) and then something goes wrong, item not received or not as described, you would be refunded the full payment you made. Buyer would only be covered for the one item, if it was SNAD. The other 3 items (off Ebay purchase) would be covered on Paypal's Buyer Complaint process (different from Buyer Protection) and refund would only be made for non delivery , NOT SNAD IF the seller had funds in their acct to cover the refund. Only Ebay purchase are offered SNAD protection. Ebay Buyer Protection pays even if seller has no funds in their acct. Paypal's Buyer Complaint does Not and is for all NON Ebay transactions. Go to Paypal and you can read about Ebay Buyer Protection and NON Ebay transaction Buyer Complaint, they are two different and seperate types of protection for those who use Paypal to make a purchase.|||salez, Thanks for responding. This seller is invoicing for one item, plus extra shipping (that covers value of the other three) so a SNAD or INR claim would refund the full amount paid.... item plus shipping.
