Bought an item of poor quality - buyer harassing me!
I left negative feedback for a pair of poor quality shoes. I got an email from the the seller: "lol! that's what you deserve! and don't worry there are so many like you who can't buy better shoes than these! so they love my store! enjoy your cheap shoes!" This is a slap in the face. I have opened an eBay dispute and a paypal dispute, but is there something else I can do? I would like to report them for harassing me via the eBay message system.|||Sorry to hear this. Using Doba and dropshippers to get products to sell on Ebay
Would I be able to make a profit if I sold items from dropshippers like Doba on Ebay? And if not, where is the best place to look in order to find products that I can sell on Ebay for a nice profit?||||||I cannot even believe people. I swear there is a candid camera around here......they cannot be for real. I have to pretend they are not real or my head explodes.|||1. Do not use any dropshipper that charges you a monthly fee...like Doba. 2. Spend the money to join Worldwide Brands and you will find more reliable dropshippers in every category than you need._______________________ "So many negs! So little time!"|||Would I be able to make a profit if I sold items from dropshippers like Doba on Ebay? Not likely. You'll have to do a lot of research to find dropshippers that are both legitimate, and not known to thousands of other sellers. And if not, where is the best place to look in order to find products that I can sell on Ebay for a nice profit? I tend to recommend the manufacturers of the products you want to sell. They will require a business license at a minimum, and may require large order quantities if you order direct. Otherwise they should be able to give you info about their distribution chain.friends Director,|||There is much negative on Doba , if you Google.|||Here are the problems you will have as a new seller using dropshipping: 1. You will be subject to 21 day Paypal holds on your funds. These can be released earlier with delivery confirmation and/or buyer feedback left. However, even though your funds are being held, you are still required to ship purchased items to your customers in a timely manner i.e. you cannot wait 21 days to ship. Therefore, you will need enough cash reserve to purchase and ship any items without access to your buyers' payments. You will be subject to these holds until you establish a sufficient track record; 2. Depending on what you decide to sell, you may be subject to restrictions on numbers and types of items you can list on Ebay until you establish a track record; and 3. Due to current problems on Ebay with listings getting sufficient exposure to buyers, you may not get enough exposure to make a reasonable number of sales. All of the above being said, many Ebay sellers successfully use dropshippers. We sold approximately $250,000 through Ebay last year using dropshipping. However, you will be as successful as the dropshipper(s) you choose & the time and effort you put into knowing what is going on with your orders. There are occasional problems even with the best of them.....and you should ALWAYS use more than one so that you have options. As previously stated, do not ever use a dropshipper like Doba who charges a monthly subscription fee in addition to the prices of their items. Their prices tend to be higher which may exlude you from being competitve enough on Ebay. They will always make money off you but you may not make any._______________________ "So many negs! And the point that you made about having to pay for everything up front as a new seller--at least until I have my first 100 sales--before I can see one penny from the buyer was a problem I overlooked as far as signing up with a dropshipper is not an option for me right now, at least not until I have reached the 100 sales mark, and at that point I will take your advice and join Worldwide Brands, instead of Doba. Actually, I am glad you mentioned WB's. because I had done research on a lot of dropshippers, and concluded that they were the best. But their one time membership fee of $300 made me think twice. But if you recommended it as a power seller, then I am sure it will be money well spent. And once and hopefully if I reach the 100 sales mark with Ebay, I will not hesitate to join them. Thanks again for your advice. I truly appreciate it. I just had one more question, but for you specifically--if you don't mind. I noticed that you have an exhorbitant number of items listed on Ebay, which is impressive, but my question is what is the secret of being able to list so many items without a huge loss if they don't sell. I know, I myself, have justed listed 8 items for sale, and even though only threee of them sold, I still had to pay to list all of them--which cost almost $8, in just 3 days. Is there anyway I can list them for free, or at least at a huge discount, so the loss won't be so big if I don't sell? If the answer is too long, it is ok if you cannot answer, I understand. But if you can, I would appreciate it. You seem like a good-hearted person, so either way thanks.||||||Don't ever make a decision like that based on a one-line post here from someone you don't know, even ME! To add to this, if Worldwide Brands is easily available it probably has a huge membership of others who have joined for the same reason as you. They think it will be easy money without doing the research to see if/how well the products actually sell. If a supplier is easy to find it probably is a supersaturated market on eBay. Before shelling out the membership fee do in-depth research into how their products sell on eBay.|||As for your ended listings that didn't sell - • You could shave .25¢ off your listing fee by listing at $9.99 instead of $10.00 • Your titles need work. "Stylish and Elegant Sneakers" doesn't draw any lookers. Put the brand in the title for one thing! • Your TOS (Terms of Service) need major trimming, MAJOR! My items come from a completely smoke-free and pet-free environment. ALL SALES ARE FINAL, unless misrepresented in ad. I can only accept Pay Pal. Payment must be made no later than 3 days after the bid has been won. If it is not recieved during that time period, the seller has the right to cancel the transaction and relist the item for resale. PLEASE do not bid if you do not plan on purchasing the item, as it is not fair to the other bidders nor to the seller. I usually ship one to two days after payment has been recieved. Shipping rates are only for the 48 contiguous states. For bidders residing in either Alaska or Hawaii please contact me prior to bidding for an exact quote on the shipping. International bidders should also contact me prior to bidding for shipping rates. I will only use UPS Priority Mail, as this is the only form of shippment which guarantees delivery. The shipping fee to ship internationally will be the exact fee charged by UPS for Priority Mail service plus a small handling fee (for packaging and supplies). In addition, all duties and any other charges imposed by customs, once the package arrives at the international destination, is the buyers sole responsibility. Please do not ask me to ship as a "gift". as this is illegal. There are no refunds on the item. However, if there is a problem with the item, please do not hesitate to contact me immediately. What to do with this situation?
I made an offer on a listing and the seller accepted it. The problem is the seller says she has no idea how to modify the invoice to show I am buying 4 of the same item + shipping. She wants me to pay for 1 item and tack on the cost for the other 3 items into the shipping fee. I have asked her to get help with this issue in the seller forums but still she wants me to pay for it her way. She did call and leave a voicemail and seems nice and genuinely confused. Paypal sign in Required to Bid?
Hi All, This question was posted on another board on Ebay I frequent and none of the regular members there had heard of it. I've bid on plenty of auctions which are Paypal only and have never -to the best of my memory- been asked to sign in to my PP account to place a bid on Ebay. So I'm thinking maybe this is a new thing I missed? Or is this a scam of some type? If a seller accepts only Paypal-are you (now) required to sign in to your Paypal account to place a bid? What happened to this item I was bidding on?
Okay, this is NOT my week on ebay. I was bidding on this doll, and when I checked to see the end of the auction (I had just checked it about an hour before the item was ending, still bidding going on ), the doll was listed only as 9.99 with zero bids. We all were bidding on this doll, but there is no explanation as to what happened. Ebay did not notify us it removed the item, and there was no seller explanation. USPS tracking and confirmation delivered but not received
As a buyer, I completed payment and communicated with seller as to tracking number and expected deliver date. However, the item was recorded as delivered by USPS on a specific date but I did not receive the item nor did I get notification by email as requested. I contacted the seller who confirmed shipping information. I opened a dispute with PayPal and a claim with USPS. Is there a policy or procedure that addresses lost or stolen items in the delivery process? How can I prevent inconsistent delivery using USPS? Is selecting optional insurance going to secure exact delivery?|||Contact your post master and tell him you did not get the package showed as scanned to your address. They can sometimes dig them up. All DC means is it was scanned somewhere - carrier could have left it anyplace.|||Check with your neighbors and the P.O. Is selecting optional insurance going to secure exact delivery? no. nothing does/can...not with any courier service. with USPS - for items insured for over $50 (have to use the blue/white insurance slip instead of the generic green insurance slip used for packages valued $50 or under), it adds an additional specific insurance ID number that can be helpful for tracking/finding. UPS/FedEx ship with automatic $100 insurance coverage on most widgets and all shipments through them are automactically tracked....but packages might still get "misdelivered". ~2COf course there's no reason for it, it's just our policy.|||I believe if you take the delivery confirmation number to the the post office and ask them to look it up they have access to more info than is available online. Since dc show the package as delivered pp can't help you.You need to file a lost package report with the po.If they can't find it they will change the dc.You or your seller also needs to file an insurance claimwhen people show you who they are, believe them|||All of the above will work. Except that the package is declared 'delivered'. That becomes a problem with the PO. They say it's been delivered. You say it isn't. The only thing I can advise is to ask them which carrier delivered the package and ask them where. Perhaps the package was delivered in an apartment complex? Perhaps the package was delivered to another complex or address? Only the carrier will know. But as far as the PO is considered, it's been delivered?|||If you live in an area where you worry about getting your mail, I would rent a post office box. I can also guarantee that when you call, visit, e-mail, or write your post office to complain and ask their assistance you will feel as though they think you're lying, or a fool to be dismissed and advised "all mail/packages we have received have been delivered", which is most likely true believe it or not. But you know you haven't received it and feel you've been violated, which by the way, you have. Before you continue on I'd advise that you are more often than not missing a key point: 'all mail/packages we have received have been delivered'; remember this ALSO means, all mail/packages we have NOT received cannot be delivered'. Except that the tracking says your mail has been given to the post office and that's where almost all of us stop considering.... After three packages of my own were lost/stolen (because let's get real, most of these are not simply 'lost') two very expensive ones within the course of three weeks, my husband and I did some very serious cross-referencing after communication with sellers (stores), their post office masters and our own. We started getting conflicting statements that we believe all to be true. Our search began when our post master looked at what appeared to be USPS tracking since it was in fact coming from USPS tracking online (so how could it NOT be from USPS?!). He came back shaking his head in a huff to advise that the information was NOT coming from USPS post officials but rather from private contractors /contracted/hired by USPS (incidentally, this includes most often to be FedEx) to move USPS mail more efficiently. While FedEx is directly involved though, there are others not so clearly identified they are CDS (Contract delivery service) and information about them can be found here: Link. It appears in our searching and digging that many times tracking information that states a package/mail has been delivered to the post office is actually coming from contracted carriers not USPS even when the sender has given the mail/package directly to the original USPS post office. But sometimes the sender has elected to involved a contractor first such as FedEx SmartPost who then is to deliver that mail/package to the local post office at the receiver's end. So, who is responsible for that lost mail/package? Well, if USPS doesn't receive ithe mail/package from the contracted shipper, they can't deliver it to the receiver meaning us so they can easily say without guilt that 'oh well, stuff gets lost', or 'you must have gotten it and don't remember', or 'someone must have stolen it from your mailbox'. I bet you can add to that list. In truth, your mail/package has most likely been stolen alright, but before it ever reached your post office. It's a Federal offense alright too but how do you prove it? Who is liable in the end? Okay, well this is my opinion and some may take issue with it, but I do know that if a company hires subcontractors and a subcontractor does something wrong, the main company is liable. It does seem that USPS has permitted too many hands in the kitchen though and they don't even know who some of those hands are. I do know I don't trust FedEx and now I have to consider USPS at risk............ Perhaps we need to return to the Pony Express? Or, hey, we could just locate that island Tom Hanks was cast onto for several years maybe we'd find all our missing packages there?|||Read this recent post regarding yet another package where the D/C showed delivered to the buyer , but is was in fact Misdelivered by USPS. If the package is found damaged or the item is SNAD, you will have to try and convince Paypal to re open the dispute. Unless the filing deadline with Paypal is fast approuching the 45 days from payment mark, you should hold off on filing the INR dispute, until all efforts with the USPS have been exhausted.|||my postman usually leaves any package by the door. the same with the ups guy. they can at least ring the door bell to give me a notice and then leave! i mean anyone can just snatch it up without me knowing. arghh!|||well if op is still looking after 2 years , then they might as well give it up ,lol. the post is 2 years old.|||Alright! Way to make a good impression with your very first post hulitoons...! ~James~|||hulitoons in the future you need to start your own thread/post , instead of dredging up an old post. The old thread confuses posters. You ask who is responsible for lost or stolen packages? You are to your buyer as a seller. USPS is, if that is how you shipped. Hey ebay folks, i got a problem. My friend ordered a iphone for her dad because her dads phone broke. But the seller had this little saying on the ebay info for the iphone saying he won't ship it until the new iphone4 comes out which is around the 24th. Is this right? I didn't even read the little italic sentence saying that, neither did she. What can i do? Her dad is in need of a phone.|||Oh and she won the bid about a day or two ago. It was our fault we didn't catch the italic words stating it won't be shipped until the new iphone comes out but could he even post a auction if he wasn't going to ship it?|||Yes, they can list items for pre-sale. The iphone 4 doesn't come out until the 24th.'You call some place paradise - kiss it goodbye' - Eagles, The Last Resort|||Is my friend allowed to get a refund on that without any trouble? thank you for replying|||No. They are not "allowed" since they agreed to the sellers terms when they placed the bid. They can ask the seller to cancel the transaction but they are not obligated too.|||Thay can ask for one, and if they get one, make sure your friend accepts the cancellation that the seller will send, as the seller was charged a listing fee and a final value fee. The seller will get the final value fees back, but not the listing fee.'You call some place paradise - kiss it goodbye' - Eagles, The Last Resort||||||||||||so we can't do anything about it? Even paid for shipping when most others are free shipping -.- 230$ in total. What if this guy drops the phone or something during these 2 weeks..|||I'm a little curious about how much feedback this seller has. I'm thinking chances are, they don't have enough for Paypal to automatically hand the $$ over to them. Sellers put terms in their auctions all the time that are not simply not enforceable. I'm not so sure that this isn't one of those. I don't do any selling, so please someone correct me if I'm wrong...for seller protection don't they need to ship within 7 days? However, I would give it 2 1/2 weeks before doing anything. If you don't have it by then, file an INR. If your friend was looking at this for Father's Day, there is nothing you can file that will fix this in time for that.|||Actually, there should be - they didn't buy the iphone 4, they bought the 3 the the seller currently has in his hands.'You call some place paradise - kiss it goodbye' - Eagles, The Last Resort|||If you bought the iphone 3 described and shown (photo) in the listing, then the seller needs to ship within 7 days of payment according to Paypal policy, if they want to be covered for Seller Protection. IF this was NOT for the Iphone4 (not released ) until the 24th Pre sale , then the seller needs to ship upon receipt of payment. Link I would pull the seller's contact info and discuss with the seller. Link If this is a low or no feedback seller, Paypal will hold the buyer's payment 21 days until the seller either proves delivery to the buyer with Signature Confirmation (over $250 value) OR the buyer leaves positive feedback (don't unless item received in good order) OR the 21 days has expired. It almost sounds , like the seller is trying to bypass the Paypal 21 day hold ? Call the seller , discuss and then come back and let us know what the seller said verbatim.|||What is the auction number? If we can look at the auction we can see what may be going on.|||PRESALE policy Link "Presale listings policy In this article Policy overview Some examples Additional information Why does eBay have this policy? Policy overview Presale listings generally consist of items that are sold before they're available to the public, such as video games, tickets, and custom-made items. (For the rules on magazine subscriptions and certain promotional items and events, see Additional information.) Often the items aren't in the seller's control or possession when they're listed. If you want to sell presale items, be sure to meet all of the following criteria: Guarantee that the item will be available for shipping within 30 days from the purchase date. Be sure to clearly state this information in your listing. Clearly indicate in the listing that the item is a presale item. The handling time specified in your listing should reflect the time from the end of the listing until the item is shipped to the buyer—not the time the item is in your possession. Be sure to specify the correct handling time in your listing. In the listing form, you need to use the default font size of 3 so people can easily see these sale terms. Make sure your listing follows these guidelines. If it doesn't, it may be removed, and you may be subject to a range of other actions, including limits of your buying and selling privileges and suspension of your account. Some examples Alice sells video games. She will receive a shipment of a new, very desirable video game from the publisher within 39 days. She starts a 10-day auction on eBay. Her listing clearly states that these games are offered as presale items, and that she will ship them to buyers within 30 days from the date the listing ends. Alice's handling time states 20 business days, since that is the time from the end of the listing to when the item is shipped. Alice's listing complies with this policy. Albert, Alice's competitor, also sells video games. He will also receive his shipment from the publisher within 39 days. Albert starts an auction that's almost identical to Alice's, except he chooses a 5-day format. Albert is violating this policy because he won't be able to ship the item within 30 days from the date the listing ends. Additional information Buyer protection programs If you bought a presale item that you didn't receive, you have 45 days from the date the listing ended to open a case on eBay. Find out more about eBay's buyer protection programs. Magazine subscriptions Magazine subscriptions (which are considered presale items) aren't allowed to be sold on eBay because the first issue generally can't be delivered within 30 days of the purchase date due to the publisher's processing time. Promotional items and events For promotional items and events, eBay, at its discretion, may approve a manufacturer like the game publisher mentioned in the examples above to sell items outside of the 30-day presale guidelines—as long as the manufacturer supplies the items. These exceptions will be made only for certain promotions and must be approved by eBay before listing the items. Why does eBay have this policy? The presale listing guidelines are designed to allow members to buy and sell items that aren't available yet and to protect members from a potentially bad transaction. Was this page helpful? Enlarge v Quick Look
Sounding off on the "quick look" option that is showing up on more and more auctions. I find they are a waste of my time as I can't see much more of the item that I did in the thumbnail. The info is repetitive. If I do end up wanting to see the listing I have to click and wait for the load a second time. Too slow for me. If I want to look at something more closely, give me the "enlarge." It's bigger and I can see detail to determine if I want to look at the listing. I don't usually look at "quick look" listings. I scan the listings pretty fast looking for what I want. "Enlarge" gives me a fast look. Sometimes it even draws me in to a listing I might otherwise have passed by. Since I can't see detail in "quick look" and only want to click on the actual items I might really be interested in I usually pass right by those listings. What do other people think about these options?|||What do other people think about these options? Honestly, I have worse things in life to worry about...You probably spent more time typing that paragraph than it takes for you to do the "quick look"|||Probably did spend more time than for one quick look Does ebay monitor comments? I'd really like to let them know what I think. I'll put the message up for them if I can find the right place to put it. thanks|||Frankly I dislike them both! But... 'Quick Look' is an especially irritating new feature in that it also leads buyers off to look at other people's listings, before they've even entered yours! ~James~|||Here's a place to send ebay suggestions - Link But again to be the negative nelly, I'd consider it wasted time to even e-mail them unless it just makes you feel better. Sorry.~James~|||"Quick look"is irrating esp if I mouse over it by mistake while scrolling thru a list thus showing me something I am not interested in and sometimes can't get to go away. "Enlarge"can be nice but it is awful slow sometimes. It may not be your fault but it is your responsibility Silver rule "do not do to others what you would not like to be done to you"|||I also think that 'quick look' is most likely not included in page views, and that might be why a lot of sellers see their page views lowered.'You call some place paradise - kiss it goodbye' - Eagles, The Last Resort|||YES!! I do not buy from quick look, I don't understand the purpose of this feature. Sellers please use the enlarge, it is great!!!!!!!!!!!|||Despise quick look, love enlarge. When I see quick look on the auctions I leave.|||I don't care. If i like the looks of an item I open up the listing and read all the details.|||Quick look is a stupendous blunder and leads me to believe Ebay does no usability testing whatsoever. It isn't the sellers choice to choose quick look or enlarge, it's another Ebay genius move. Pay no attention to what consumers need and want, take away the useful enhancements consumers love and replace them with irritating annoying crap that pisses the consumers off. On top of that Ebay has become SLOW, it's like being on dial-up.|||Only certain categories offer the "enlarge" option. Quick look is the only option for clothing category...which desperately needs the enlarge option INMHO
Refund/ Renturn
I recently bought a scanner, after setting everything up and following installation instructions it did not work. I messaged the seller; communicated I wanted to return and get a refund. The seller told me where to ship it, it arrived last Thursday (confirmed via USPS) so I waited until Saturday to send another message about it and I still have not gotten a response. My question is how long should I wait and can/should I do if I do not get a response? Thanks for any advice.|||Your seller has had penty of time to refund upon receipt. File the SNAD dispute with Paypal OR Ebay (not both) now and give the Delivery Confirmation number in the dispute proving the return to the seller. It takes less than 2 minuets to refund via Paypal, once the item has been received by the seller. File and all communication with the seller should ONLY be via the dispute console. DO NOT cancel the dispute , unless you have the full refund in hand. Once you file and close/cancel the dispute can not be re opened.|||First double check your PP account. If you funded the PayPal payment with a Credit Card, when the refund hits the PP account it is immediately refunded to the credit card. Because the account history default view is set at one day, it is very easy to miss the transactions. Log in to PP and on the account page, extend the view back two weeks. If a credit card is used to fund a PayPal payment, and that payment is later refunded by the seller, that refund is immediately returned to the credit card by PayPal, and the refund from the seller and return to the credit card will show on the PayPal account immediately. Sell not communicating..same product up for bid
Just purchased a watch from a seller a couple of days ago. And he is not responding to my messages Im sending him. I won the bid and asked the question "why is he selling the watch" and if "he knew the serial number". He responded rudely and said it was a gift and gave the serial numbers so i went ahead and deposited the money via pay pal to his account. He will not respond to my emails and currently has the same watch with the same pictures/discription up on ebay for more money! What do I do since it has only been a couple of days with zero response and the same exact watch is up for bid again. -Also this person has zero history either selling or buying he is a "0"|||Give it enough time to reach you if the seller has sent it(it is possible he has two and the 2nd listing is for the second one) If it does not reach you in say 2 weeks fill a item not received complaint with either ebay or paypal(only one-do both and they will close is sellers favor cause it looks like you are double dipping).Seller will have to prove delivery to you.If they can not you will be refunded in full. Then file a seller non performance complaint here Link And leave appropriate feedbackIt may not be your fault but it is your responsibility Silver rule "do not do to others what you would not like to be done to you"|||History "0" is no problem for selling a item. But I think a real good seller must answer buy's question in time. Now you just need to check "shipped "mark,If you dont receive a item, you can open case to ebay or paypal|||sweetland250 ALL questions regarding the item should be asked PRIOR to bidding, not after. If you ask a question prior to bidding and you do not receive a reply, then don't bid.Your seller is using Stock Manufacturer photos not a photo of the actual ,item in hand. Your seller could be drop shipping, which means they wait for an Ebay buyer purchase, then order the item from their supplier, who ships direct to the buyer. It could also be the seller did receive the item as a gift and just went to the manufacuter's website and used their photo of the item. Wait 10 - 14 + days after payment ( No weekends or holidays counted), if you have received nothing , then file the INR with Paypal. Since the seller is new , Paypal holds your payment until the seller proves delivery to you via Delivery Confirmation OR you leave positive feedback (don't unless you receive item as described) OR the 21 day Paypal hold has expired. It looks like the seller has nothing currently for sale. Perhaps the second listing was an error or they have more than one of the same item.|||Sorry, seller does have the same watch up for sale, which means he is drop shipping . He will need to provide Signature Confirmation on this item as it is over $250 value. If he can't or does not, Paypal will not release the Buyer's payment from the 21 day Paypal hold. Just wait for the item to arrive (maximum 10-14 days . If nothing , then file the INR with Paypal.|||"why is he selling the watch"...Frankly, none of your business.||||||"He responded rudely and said it was a gift and gave the serial numbers so i went ahead and deposited the money" He may have responded rudely because asking a seller why they are selling something can be offensive and feel like a rude question to some people.Need a website fast?|||Since the seller is using stock photos taken from the manufacturer's website, asking WHY are you selling is a silly question. Agree, it is not necessary for a buyer to know, why a seller decides to list an item. Your seller's answer makes even less sense (gift) since they have an identical item up for sale. They appear to be drop shipping. If I were you, I would get the watch authenticated upon receipt.||||||When you get you watch take it to a watchmake and have the movement verified. This way you know you have not purchased a nice exterior with cheap innards. Cheap movements are made in China.
Seller ignoring my emails.help!
Hi I recently won a lot of fishing lures. A total of 45 pkgs of plastic worms used to fish for black bass. When I got my lures, there were only 44 pkgs in the box. I understand it was maybe a mistake or maybe not, who knows? I used email messaging to tell the seller about it and got no answer, that was 1 week ago. So I grabbed his email from my paypal transaction and emailed him, 3 days and no answer. What would you do? It's the point here more than the money, I hate being ignored. Thanks Patrick|||Patrick, Find contact information and give a call, If no answer to the problem within 48 hours, File SNAD Please be aware you will have to return what you did receive on your dime, BUT you will then receive a FULL refund, Item price + the original amount you paid for shipping/hamdlingDelivery Confirmation is confirmation of delivery, not tracking.|||SNAD is a Significantly Not as Described claim. PayPal and eBay each have a Buyer Protection Policy that covers not as described items. If necessary you can file with either eBay or PayPal but not both. Their claims processes are about the same.|||If it's really one small package missing out of 45 if they get in touch with the seller hoefully just sending out an extra will be enough to suffice. ~James~|||Are fishing lures an expensive item? I'm not being facetious, I truly don't know. I get annoyed when people say it's the "principle" of the thing when it's really just pettiness. How much did these 45 lures cost?|||Hi I appreciate all the help. I will probably use paypal. Thanks Patrick|||weatherloach if you file the SNAD with Paypal , you will be required to return ALL the items with delivery confirmation on your dime to get a refund of item price and the original S&H. I would call the seller and request the additional item. If the seller refuses, then leave appropriate feedback and DSR stars. Just don't mention Ebay or Paypal in feedback left or that would qualify for feedback removal by Ebay.|||i highly doubt the seller would refuse to ship out another. If they are selling their item in lots of 45, they probably have well over 1000 of them on hand. an occasional miscount is bound to happen now and then. ...or... maybe the seller is pure evil,, and is out fishing with your missing lure RIGHT NOW so they cannot return your email from the middle of a lake.|||longhairmike You would be very surprised, what a seller will do these days, when it comes to a buyer claiming they did not receive one item out of a lot|||Patrick, a SNAD will be a lot of trouble. In reality can you not make do with 44 packs, especialy if you like them. Communication is indeed your real problem; the seller owes you the courtesy of a reply, IMO. I would try one more e-mail. Maybe the seller has been out of town. If this final e-mail doesn't get you a response I would ding the communication star when leaving the seller fb.||||||If they do not have an extra one, perhaps the seller will be so kind as to partially refund 1/45th the cost? ~James~
